We throughly enjoyed reading about all your family traditions. Some of the highlights for us included: that elves have blue pee, handmade holiday gifts, and of course kids waking up at midnight to open gifts! We appreciated all your wonderful comments.
The Winner of the Felt Food Giveaway is:

If you didn’t win don’t lose heart. We will be doing a bunch of giveaways during the month of December. ( lots of great things we promise!)

Harvest Fest 2010 Report

Our Harvest Fest on October 30th was a great success.  We had ~50 families who came with babies and toddlers and preschoolers in costumes and some adults were in costume and we had a few families dressed up as a themed group.  Here are some photos of the event in case you missed it or wanted to relive the fun day!

Thanks to everyone who came and those who helped out.  We had pumpkin painting, warm cider and cider donuts, our Green Room was set up as a playspace, we had over 40 families who trick-or-treated down the hall (where we had people stationed at six doors handing out healthy treats (raisins, pretzels, organic lollipops and pure chocolate) to the kids.  We had a ball and will do it again next year (with some new twists).

And, drum roll, please…the winners of the costume contest are below.  Family winners and Individual Grown-up winners will receive gift certificates and Children winners will receive several Melissa and Doug puzzles.
